Cyberattacks have grown in frequency, and analysts are needed to come up with solutions to prevent hackers from stealing information or creating problems on networks. Certification establishes the core knowledge required of any cybersecurity role and provides a springboard to intermediate-level cybersecurity jobs. The Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity certification validates a candidate’s skills and knowledge of entry-level cybersecurity concepts and topics, including security principles, network security and endpoint security concepts, vulnerability assessment and risk management, and incident handling. The Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity certification is also a first step toward CyberOps Associate certification.
