Institute of Business & Technology Careers (IBTCareers)
Formally known as Computer Training Institute of Chicago was incorporated in the state of Illinois in 2010. IBTCareers has been approved with the Illinois Board of Higher Education since 2010. IBTCareers has been an approved WIOA training provider since 2010. IBTCareers has an A+ rating with the BBB.
Our mission
Our mission is to improve student employment opportunities through ‘high-demand industry recognized certifications,’ facilitating entry into new careers, enabling mid-career transitions, or promoting advancement in professional careers.
Veterans Programs
Since 2010 IBTCareers has assisted hundreds of students veterans and civilians to reach their educational and employment goals. IBTCareers supports veterans through our ‘Veterans Career Academy’ Scholarship This program is designed to help unemployed and disadvantaged veterans who do not qualify for any other VA benefits to obtain the skills necessary for employment. In 2022 IBTCareers gave out over $200,000 is student scholarships to veterans.
Youth Program
IBTCareers supports youth to expand their digital horizons through the ‘Youth Career Academy’ Program. Youth Tech & Mentoring being the focus. IBTCareers Funds this program 100% without any grants or additional support. We have enjoyed building lasting relationships helping hundreds of youth figure out the digital landscape and how they can get an early start on their future careers.
Incorporation & History
IBTCareers was founded in 2010. The legal entity Institute of Business & Technology Careers LLC is a ‘for profit’ institution of higher learning incorporated under the State laws of Illinois and in ‘Good Standing.
